After racing triathlons of varying distances for nearly six years, MNB took the leap and tackled her first Ironman triathlon in September 2015. She completed Ironman Chattanooga as her first big challenge after having her daughter in 2013. MNB understands the pressures of training coupled with managing work and a family!

FLEX - Entry level lifting!
MNB knew firsthand from working from wellness coaching clients that the weight room at a gym could be a scary place. MNB created FLEX for the purpose of making strength training accessible to ALL fitness levels. The class she created allows those new to fitness to experience the joys of strength training while allowing those with more advanced fitness levels to challenge themselves in a fun and motivating one hour lifting class. She leads the class at VO2 Fitness.
Do something crazy!
After a decade of being a heavy smoker, MNB changed her life in 2008 when a good friend encouraged her to start running. Running soon led to triathlon, and MNB has been racing triathlons since 2010, and she is one of the co-founders of roll: racing multisport based in Columbus, Ohio.

FLEX is a strength training class created by MNB that makes strength training accessible and fun for ALL fitness levels.
Group Fitness at VO2 Fitness
MNB has been a group fitness instructor (and marketing manager!) for VO2 Fitness in Newark, Ohio since 2014. Her first class was called "Baby Weights" and focused on new parents using their baby as a "weight" in a strength training class. MNB currently teaches FLEX, Boxfit, and sometimes substitutes in for Cardio-Kickboxing and Body Blast.
